MCC statement on Keith Bradshaw

The MCC Committee met today at Lord’s and discussed recent press reports regarding the resignation of MCC’s Secretary & Chief Executive, Keith Bradshaw.

The Committee wants to state categorically that these reports are untrue, and reaffirmed their regrets at Keith having to resign for family reasons.

The Committee emphasised:

1 - Keith Bradshaw had enjoyed a very productive and harmonious association with the Committee;

2 - He had an excellent working relationship with the Chairman, Oliver Stocken, and Treasurer, Justin Dowley; and

3 - The Committee unanimously regret his departure and would be happy to support Mr Bradshaw for any comparable positions of which he may apply. But for his family circumstances, he would undoubtedly still be MCC’s Secretary & Chief Executive.

Spencer Stuart, one of the world's leading executive search consulting firms, has been appointed to find Keith Bradshaw’s permanent successor.

In the meantime, Colin Maynard has become Acting Secretary & Chief Executive of the Club.
