Lord’s Cricket Ground, the most famous cricket ground in the world, owned by Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), is renowned worldwide for staging international cricket matches with up to 28,500 spectators in attendance. International matches are a crucial revenue stream for MCC, in particular the non-ticket income from Catering and Hospitality.
An entry level opportunity has arisen within our Catering and Hospitality Operations Department for a Hospitality Administrator, to support the Hospitality team with the operation of the hospitality and restaurants business. The role will include assisting the coordination and delivery of the hospitality and restaurant offer, whilst improving standards and attaining budgets.
The Hospitality Administrator will be required to have an in-depth knowledge of MCC’s hospitality offerings, including shared venues, private suites and restaurants. Responsibilities will include the fulfilment, ticket distribution, and operation of the corporate hospitality offer. The successful candidate will assist with the match day preparation, ticket duplications and cover the hospitality help desk on major match days. Required Skills & Experience
- Passion to work within the hospitality, and/or events industry.
- To have a strong customer focus.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- An eye for detail and experience proof reading documents.
- Strong IT skills, especially Word and Excel, are essential.
- The ability to prioritise and organise workloads, often to tight deadlines.
- Significant flexibility is required for attendance on Major Match Days as weekend and evening work will be required.
