Lord’s Ground, the most famous cricket ground in the world, and owned by Marylebone Cricket Club (“MCC”), is an exceptional venue with a wealth of experience in delivering high quality hospitality, corporate and private events, supported by our Catering, Hospitality and Meeting and Events team.

MCC is now recruiting a Logistics Kitchen Assistant to support the Operations Manager – Logistics, to ensure the Ground Operations run as efficiently as possible. The Logistics Assistant will work closely with two other Logistics Assistants.The role is to assist with maintaining all kitchens around the ground and with the movement of kit as necessary.

Skills and experience

With some experience gained in a logistics role, the ideal candidate will be forklift trained. Basic COSHH and Food Hygiene Level 2 qualifications are essential.

Strong communication skills are also required along with initiative, administrative and organisational ability and the ability to work quickly under pressure whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. IT skills, particularly MS Outlook, Word and Excel, are also required but not essential.

Flexibility is vital as there is a regular need to cover evenings and weekends as well as working extended hours during the cricket season and all Major Match Days.
