We are actively promoting good health and well-being, using cricket as a tool for creating positive changes. Working with local partners, we aim to reduce inactivity especially in children and young adults.
Our focus is also on mental health and well-being. We are currently aspiring towards becoming the UK’s first Dementia Friendly Cricket Ground.
Our match day volunteers have been trained as part of the Alzheimer’s Society national initiative, Dementia Friends. For more information visit dementiafriends.org.uk
In addition to training staff and volunteers, we are hosting monthly reminiscence sessions for people living with dementia and their carers.
