Bahrain and Oman

MCC embarked on a 12-day tour of Oman and Bahrain, their first overseas tour of 2016, on Tuesday 2 February.

The 15-man group, led by former Queensland batsman Clinton Perren, also includes Warwickshire’s Oliver Hannon-Dalby and Derbyshire’s Shiv Thakor.
There are seven matches scheduled for the trip, including a floodlit 20-over match against the Oman national team on Monday 8 February, and a 40-over match against Bahrain Under 25s on Wednesday 10 February.

MCC’s players will also lead a coaching clinic with 60 local children at the Boushar Cricket Academy in Oman at the start of the tour.
