Day two - what you might have missed

Day two - what you might have missed looks back at day two of the Test between England and Australia and brings you some moments you might have missed from the Home of Cricket.

Batting with Boris

The Mayor of London, and cricket fan, Boris Johnson popped into the Ground today to sample the atmosphere at Lord's during an Ashes series.

In a jovial mood on the outfield at lunch he chatted to Lord's TV about his cricketing prowess, or lack of it!

Hot stuff!

With so many spectators flowing through the gates each day of the Test, it's fundamental that everyone stays fed and watered.

Lord's TV snuck into a couple of the Ground's kitchens - where the temperature was heating up - to find the MCC chefs hard at work.

Watch the video below.

Shane's sarnies

Shane Warne, whose fiancé Liz Hurley was also at the Ground today, managed to take a quick break from the Sky Cricket commentary box to nip over to the Players' Dining Room.

The former Aussie spinner - who was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame during lunch - chatted to about cheese toasties and how he would curl up in the changing room after a 'superb' lunch.

Listen to Shane on sarnies.
