A rapscallion at Lord's

Former New Zealand skipper Jeremy Coney shared his thoughts on the Test match so far after ringing the bell to signal the beginning of the third day’s play.

"I was very honoured and a bit chuffed," Coney told Lord's TV.

Coney urges Kiwis forward

The 60-year-old, who is currently working for BBC's Test Match Special team, noted how the Home of Cricket has changed over the years and joked about his 'rapscallion' persona.

He added: "I've always been regarded as a bit of a rapscallion back in the colonies.

"I'm now very pleased to be invited back into society and I've made it at last."
