On Saturday 23 July there is exactly one year to go until Lord’s hosts the ICC Women’s World Cup Final.
This will be the second time that Lord’s hosts the prestigious fixture, after the final took place at the Home of Cricket in 1993.
That year England won the final, beating New Zealand by 67 runs.
This will be the 11th ICC Women’s World Cup, and so far only three teams have claimed the trophy; Australia, England and New Zealand.
Australia have been the most successful side, winning the competition six times, while England have won it three times and New Zealand once.
The last World Cup took place in India in February 2013, and saw Australia triumph after a victory in the final over the West Indies.
