A squad from Marylebone Cricket Club left Lord’s on Wednesday 15 March ahead of a 14-day tour of Mexico and Belize.
The 13-strong squad will be managed by former Northamptonshire wicketkeeper Toby Bailey and captained by Hampstead batsman George Adair.
The Club will play the Mexico national team at the Reforma Club in Mexico City, before travelling to Belize to compete in the sixth Central American Cricket Championships.
The tournament features twelve teams including Costa Rica, Aruba and Belize.
John Stephenson, MCC Head of Cricket, said: “This is the first MCC overseas tour of the year and it’s a very exciting one.
"Cricket in Central America is growing in popularity and I expect the standard to be very good – hence our selection of such a quality squad.
"We have a good mixture of youth and experience amongst our players and I’m sure they will do the Club proud.”
