MCC has announced the renewal of their partnership with Stowford Press for a further two years, as the Official Cider Partner of Lord’s.
Stowford Press, which is made by Westons Cider, have been making cider on their farm in Herefordshire since 1880, and other much loved ciders made there include Henry Westons., Mortimer’s Orchard and Caple Road.
The partnership will continue to see Westons serve its Stowford Press Cider at all international and domestic matches at Lord’s. It will also be available for the many other events that take place at the Home of Cricket.
Stowford Press has been great supporters of the ‘Thursdays Just Got Better’ campaign at Lord’s, for Middlesex’s home Vitality Blast matches, where selected lucky supporters have been the recipient of a prize hamper in the ‘surprise and delight’ competition.
Stowford Press already has a strong brand association with cricket and will benefit from signage and hospitality at Lord’s as part of the deal.
Jon Robinson, MCC Assistant Secretary (Commercial), said: “It is fantastic to secure Stowford Press as our Official Cider Partner as we prepare to embark on another international summer at Lord’s. Stowford Press has been supportive of the initiatives that we have put in place at Lord’s and we look forward to continuing to our work with them.
“I am sure that our visitors to Lord’s, whether it be for international cricket or a non-matchday event, will be pleased to see Stowford Press as well as other Westons’ products being served at the bars and in the restaurants around the ground.”
Holly Chadwick, Stowford Press Brand Manager, said: “Stowford Press are delighted to be continuing as the Official Cider Partner of Lord's for at least another two years.
“It promises to be another superb summer of cricket at Lord's and we can't wait to be a part of it.”
