A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the Catering Finance team as an Events Billing Administrator to produce post event billing across the catering departments. This role plays a key part in delivering an exceptional experience to a roaring capacity crowd.
This role is key to ensuring all catering events revenue is captured and invoiced accurately to clients across a range of events including weddings, conferences and dinners as well as billing activities related to match days in bars, restaurants and hospitality.
This role plays a key part in providing management information to aid decision making through the presentation and dialogue surrounding the profitability of events.
This role also supports the management accounts process, assisting with preparation of cross charge data and reconciliation of sales and costs. This role involves acting as a Finance Business Partner to ensure the management accounts are accurate and budget holders have all the management information needed.
Skills and experience
Strong administrative and organisational ability will be essential to ensure that methodical working practices are employed to maintain a high level of accuracy whilst working quickly under pressure. Strong IT skills are also essential, in particular excel skill to present sales and event profitability efficiently.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have of similar large scale catering operations and familiarity with accounting software to raise invoices.
