If you're bringing some young cricket fans with you to a match at Lord's there is a new scheme to help families and young spectators have a fun and safe visit to 'The Home of Cricket'.
Cheap tickets for under 16s
Under 16s tickets for matches at Lord's are priced at £20 or less, with the majority through the season just £5.
Activities for children
At many Lord's fixtures, including Investec Test Matches and NatWest T20 Blast games, the Nursery Ground offers cricket activities for youngsters to take part in for free.
The MCC Museum is also open during every match day, where visitors of all ages can soak up some history by visiting the Ashes Urn and browsing the frequently changing exhibitions.
Lord's often hosts family days during the summer holidays, with entry is free for Under 16s and activities on offer throughout the day.
Ask any Lord's Steward or Lord's Outfielder and they will be able to help you get one of our free Lord's wristbands.
The reverse of the wristband should be completed with:
- The young person's name
- Their parent/guardian's name
- A contact phone number
- Your seat location
- The date
- Event (the match you're attending)
As parent/guardian, remove the numbered tab attached to the wristband and keep this with you.
Then, if you were to become separated or should the young person get lost around the Ground, a Lord's Steward will be able to quickly and easily reunite you.
We advise against bringing pushchairs along to the Ground on Major Match Days (Test matches, ODIs, T20 fixtures etc.).
You will appreciate that the Ground gets very full indeed, and unfortunately we don’t have any dedicated space for pushchair storage.
However, for minor matches - including Middlesex's Specsavers County Championship & Royal London Cup fixtures there is sufficient space around the Ground to accommodate pushchairs.
