Make the most of your visit

Summer weekends start on Thursday nights at the Home of Cricket, and we want you to make the most of your evening - whether you're a regular or trying out Lord's for the first time.

BEAT THE QUEUES

Lord's is closer to central London than most people think, and is best found by walking from St John's Wood (5 mins walk) or Baker Street (10 mins walk) stations.

GET TO LORDS copy

However, with 28,000 people all trying into the Ground for the first ball at 6:15pm, and tightened security at the gate, the later you leave it to get to Lord's, the longer the queues will get. So don't take the risk!

Have a word with your boss and get out of the office early - we open our doors, bars, picnic areas and food outlets from 4:45pm, and promise to keep you entertained with live music and performances up to the first ball.

DON'T FORGET YOUR DRINKS

Lord's is one of the very few sporting venues in the country where you can bring your own alcohol, or any drink for that matter, into the Ground.

Each adult ticket holder can bring up-to one bottle of wine or two pints of beer into the Ground with them.

However, if you do forget (or run out...) then we've got plenty of bars around Lord's, serving everything from craft beers to pimms and Champagne.

FAQ BUTTONS

FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD

Cricket is as much about food as it is the action on the field (for many of the players as well as fans) and we've got all angles covered, from burgers in the Food Village and Whopping Great Sandwiches at WG's bar.
