The MCC Cricket Academy at Lord's has bolstered its world-class facilities following the introduction of state-of-the-art PitchVision software, a cricket store and a coffee shop.

PitchVision users, from junior cricketers to international stars, will benefit from instantaneous video feedback on their batting and bowling performances.
Members of the current England squad touring India have used the technology at the Home of Cricket - and the introduction of Pitch Vision allows players of all levels to enjoy the same high-quality training.
The introduction of PitchVision to the MCC Cricket Academy represents just the latest addition to the MCC Performance Analysis Suite, which is still the only facility in the world where any budding amateur cricketer or umpire can access the famous HawkEye ball tracking system as a training tool. The ingenious Merlin spin-bowling-machine is another piece of technology available in the Academy.
Positioned alongside the world class training facilities is the new Lord’s Cricket Store. Dedicated to the provision of specialist cricket equipment, and staffed by experienced and knowledgeable current players, the Lord’s Cricket Store is the ideal place for cricketers of all abilities to source their playing equipment.
In addition to boasting an extensive range of the latest and best gear on the market, the location of the Lord’s Cricket Store – directly adjacent to the eight-lane playing facility – allows players to try kit before they buy.
Away from all the cricket action, players and spectators can also now relax in the new coffee shop located on the mezzanine level of the Academy. Open from 8.00am until close of play seven days a week, the coffee shop offers a range of cakes, pastries, salads, sandwiches and hot and cold drinks throughout the day.
