England opener Sam Robson says he’s "loving every minute" of Test cricket ahead of his side's Investec Test match against India at Lord’s starting on Thursday 17 July.
Robson, who made his Test debut at the Home of Cricket against Sri Lanka last month, was in a relaxed mood before what is set to be his fourth cap.
I’m loving every minute of it
"You take each day as it comes but the more time you spend around any team or any group of blokes the more relaxed you feel and that’s definitely the case with all the young guys," said the 25-year-old batsman.
"I feel like I’m finding my feet and I’m loving every minute of it. I’m just trying to do my best and keep contributing towards the team."
Robson, who plays his cricket at Lord’s for his county Middlesex, made 127 in his second Test at Headingley, before following that up with a half-century in the first match of the series against India, and he feels confident about scoring runs at the highest level.
"On a personal note things have started pretty well so hopefully I can keep that up.
"It would be great to get the chance to go on and make another big score if the opportunities there and I do the right things, so I’m feeling good."
