We are now recruiting for a broad role encompassing both Management Accounts and Stock Control to join the Catering Finance team to manage the stock reconciliation and management accounting processes for Catering. This role plays a key part in delivering an exceptional experience to a roaring capacity crowd.
EPoS and stock control systems are deployed throughout all bars, restaurants, suites, and cellars at Lord’s Cricket Ground for both cricket matches and the Club’s extensive events arm. This role will lead major and minor match day stock controls and month end reconciliations for circa £2m liquor cost. The role will assist the Management Accountant with the day-to-day compilation and analysis of data to produce the full month end reports and also ensure all cellar purchasing is processed smoothly in the procurement and stock systems. Separately this role will also proactively work to evolve and improve financial reporting models and tools.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong administrative and organisational ability will be essential to ensure that methodical working practices are employed to maintain a high level of accuracy whilst working quickly under pressure.
- Strong IT skills are essential, in particular advanced excel skill to develop and improve the departments financial reporting tools.
- Flexibility is vital as there is a regular need to cover evenings and weekends as well as working extended hours during the cricket season and all Major Match Days.
- Ideally, the successful candidate will have worked in a similar environment and will have experience of Food and Beverage stock control processes and systems.
