Tours & Museum

Lord’s is the most famous cricket Ground in the world, steeped in over 200 years of history and tradition.

Covid-19 Update

It is with regret that MCC has taken the decision to suspend all Tours of Lord's until at least the 1st November 2020, due to the outbreak of Covid-19.

The Tours office is closed until further notice; therefore, staff are not working onsite or remotely.

Customers who had booked for August, September and October, have been automatically refunded and gift voucher bookings have been cancelled and reissued with a 12 month extension. Customers do not need to do anything as this was processed automatically.

MCC is sorry to bring you this news and for any inconvenience it may cause you.

What will I see?

Tours of Lord’s give visitors the opportunity to go behind-the-scenes at the Home of Cricket and explore some of the most famous sights in sport.

Led by an expert guide, the Tour includes the Grade II* listed Pavilion, legendary Long Room, Players’ Dressing Rooms with the Honours Boards, award-winning J.P. Morgan Media Centre and MCC Museum, home to the iconic Ashes Urn.

With extraordinary architecture, a fascinating collection of art and memorabilia, a Tour of Lord’s is not only a must for all cricket fans, but for everyone looking for a quintessentially English experience.

Tours run seven days a week, throughout the year, with the exception of major match days, preparation days and large event days. Tour availability will be limited on other match days.

Tours run for approximately 100 minutes and all visitors are to report to the Tour booking window next to the Grace Gate on St Johns Wood Road.

MCC Museum

MCC Museum is one of the oldest sporting museums in the world, dedicated to tracing the history and development of cricket.

The Collection was established in 1864 when Members were invited to donate items of interest to furnish the Pavilion. Today MCC Museum works towards Accreditation Standards and collaborates with a number of national museums and schools through its active loans, community and tours programmes.
