2027 Lord's Ticket Ballot

The 2027 Lord’s ticket ballot is now open. The ballot is free to enter and details on how to enter are below in the Lord's Ballot FAQs.

The ballot for 2027 International fixtures at Lord’s is now open, giving you the chance to apply for tickets to some of world cricket’s most anticipated matches, including an Ashes summer at the Home of Cricket.

To enter, simply select the days you wish to attend. There is no limit to the number of days you can enter for, and encouraging friends and family to enter could increase your chances of securing tickets.

The ballot is free to enter - no card details are required. You will need to log in to your Lord's account or create an account if you are new to Lord's to enter the ballot. 

If successful, you will be contacted from Tuesday 17 November, with details of how to purchase your allocated tickets.

Enter the 2027 Ballot


The greatest rivalry in cricket returns to the greatest stage, with two blockbuster Ashes fixtures between England and Australia.

The second match of the Rothesay Men's Ashes Series will take place at Lord's starting on Wednesday 30 June. Every Ashes Test match at Lord's is a special occasion, and the 2027 edition will be no different.

Having recently vied for ICC Women's T20 World Cup glory at Lord's, England and Australia Women will clash again during the Metro Bank Women's Ashes Series. Lord's will host the second Metro Bank ODI in the multi format series on Friday 16 July.

That's not all during a massive 2027 international summer. England Men will welcome Bangladesh to Lord's for the first time since 2010 in a Rothesay Test match, starting on Friday 28 May, as they prepare for the impending Ashes series.

Finally, New Zealand Men return to Lord's once again for a Metro Bank One-Day International against England Men on Thursday 16 September.

Lord's 2027 Ballot Faqs

The 2027 ticket ballot is free to enter. It opens on Wednesday 2 September and closes on Monday 26 October.

Lord’s operates an open ballot, with no obligation to purchase upfront. Simply select the days you’d like to purchase tickets for and confirm your entry - no payment details are required at this stage. 

If you're successful, you'll be notified from Tuesday 17 November, with instructions on how to select and purchase your preferred tickets. 

  1. Visit tickets.lords.org/ballots 
  2. Log in to your Lord's Ticketing account or create an account if you are new to Lord's
  3. Click Enter Ballot” on the 2027 – General Public Ballot 
  4. Find the match day(s) you would like to apply for and click Select” 
  5. For each selected day:  
    - Select the number of tickets you would like 
    - Select the ticket type for each: General SeatingFamily Area / No AlcoholWheelchair Area 
  6. Click Save Applicationafter selecting your tickets 
  7. Once you have chosen all of your preferred days, click Continue 
  8. On the next page, accept the Terms & Conditions and click Submit 
  9. A confirmation email will be sent to the address linked to your account titled Lord's Ballot Confirmation 2027
  10. If successfulyou’ll be notified by email from Tuesday 17 November, with instructions on how to purchase your tickets

The best chance to secure tickets for these matches is by entering our open ticketing ballot.

The following ticket purchase limits apply for each match: 

  • England v Bangladesh Rothesay Men's Test Match: 10 tickets per day of the Test
  • England v Australia Rothesay Ashes Test Match: 2 tickets across the Test
  • England v Australia Metro Bank Women's Ashes ODI: 10 tickets  
  • England Men v New Zealand Metro Bank Men's ODI: 4 tickets 

For Test matches, the ticket limit applies across the entire match, not per day. You may apply for multiple days to increase your chances in the ballot, but you will not be awarded more than the total ticket limit listed above.

Due to demand, if applying for multiple days of the Men’s Ashes, should you be successful, the maximum purchase will be two tickets for one day’s play.

If you are successful in the ballot, you will have the opportunity to purchase Under-16 tickets as part of the process. 

Under-16 ticket holders must be 15 years or younger on the day of the match. Any child ticket holder 14 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder.  

Please note that, as per our Terms and Conditions, applications for Junior Tickets can only be made together with an Application for an Adult Ticket;    

Any babes-in-arms may be carried into the ground free-of-charge, so long as they will not occupy a seat themselves. A ticket is required for any child three years of age or over on the day of the match.

You won’t need to select seats during your initial ballot application. If you're successful, you’ll be able to choose your seats during the purchase process - on a first come, first served basis from the tickets available.

  2. Log in to your Lord's Ticketing account or create an account if you are new to Lord's
  3. Click “Enter Ballot” on the 2027 – General Public Ballot 
  4. Find the match day(s) you would like to apply for and click “Select” 
  5. For each selected day:  
    - Select the number of tickets you would like 
    - Select the ticket type as: Wheelchair Area 
  6. Click “Save Application” after selecting your tickets 
  7. Once you have chosen all your preferred days, click “Continue” 
  8. On the next page, accept the Terms & Conditions and click Submit” 
  9. A confirmation email will be sent to the address linked to your account titled Lord's Ballot Confirmation 2027
  10. When receiving the confirmation email, there will be a link to a Smartsheet to fill out accessible requirements, titled "click here for the accessibility form"
  11. If successful, you will be notified by email from Tuesday 17 November, with instructions on how to purchase your tickets. 

If you are applying for wheelchair-seating and are in a group of more than two people, we will make every effort to locate your group as close to each other as possible, but please note that due to space restrictions in Wheelchair-areas, it may not always be possible for the seats to be immediately adjacent. 

For Ambulant seating, the applicant should select general seating as part of their applicationUpon completion you will receive a confirmation email, which contains a link to an online form in which you can share your accessibility requirements. Should you be successful in the ballot, we will cross-reference the information provided and make every effort to allocate seating suitable to your needs.  

We are pleased to provide one complimentary ticket to any ticket holder that requires a carer to accompany them on a match day, in addition to your own ticket, which will be reduced in price to Category D.  Please also complete the form that is linked in the confirmation email to make us aware of your requirements.

To ensure a welcoming environment for all, Lord's have a Family Area / No Alcohol option for the 2027 season. The importation or consumption of any alcoholic drinks into these areas shall not be permitted. If you are interested in seating in these areas, please select the ‘Family Area / No Alcohol’ ticket type option when completing your ballot application for the relevant match day.  

Please note that this area is not strictly reserved for family groups but for all ticket holders who would prefer to watch cricket in an alcohol-free environment. 

All successful applicants will be notified of their successful application by email from Tuesday 17 November with further details on how to purchase their tickets.

You are not obliged to purchase the tickets you win, but if you do not purchase them by the date specified, they will be released.  

Following the ballot, we will make all remaining international match tickets available for purchase during our general sale which opens on Thursday 10 December 

If the match day you want to attend is initially showing as unavailable, we encourage you to click on the "Join Waitlist" button. In the build up to the 2027 season, we are likely to receive some additional inventory back from our partners. Once these tickets are made available to purchase, we will contact this group first, giving those on the "Join Waitlist" priority ahead of the wider public.

All Public Stand tickets for 202will be available via the Lord’s App before the 2027 fixture you are attending.

Premium Seating

Inside Lord’s Premium will entitle you to an early-access ticketing window from 30 October to 3 November ahead of the public Ballot. Tickets for selected international matches will be available on a first-come, first-served basis during the Premium ticket window, so please note that early access does not guarantee ticket availability.

The ticket limits for Inside Lord’s Premium subscribers are:

  • Up to 2 tickets for one day only of the Men’s Ashes Test (not 2 tickets per day)

  • Up to 10 tickets for each day of the Bangladesh Test

  • Up to 10 tickets for the Women’s Ashes ODI

  • Up to 4 tickets for the Men's ODI v New Zealand

Please note: there will be 500 pairs of tickets for each day of the Men's Ashes available to Inside Lord's Premium subscribers to buy in their priority window. These tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Further details on how to access this priority window will be shared with subscribers soon. We expect strong demand across all the 2027 internationals. If you wish to attend multiple match days, or you would like to purchase more tickets, we strongly encourage you to enter the public ballot as well.

Should you have friends and family members who are also applying in the ballot in the hope of attending the same match day, you will need to submit separate ballot applications. In the event you are successful in the ballot for the same match day, you can link your accounts and combine the purchase limit to buy adjacent seats.  

You can add other applicants to your Friends & Family group (up to a maximum of a group of twenty five). You do not need to add anyone to your Friends & Family group until after you have all submitted your ballot applications.

Following this, one member of the group can head online to tickets.lords.org during the allocated window and organise seats together for everyone in your group who is successful in the ballot.

You can add people to your Friends & Family group here. Please note that you will need their ‘Supporter ID’, which can be found in their ballot summary email as their ‘Client Reference Number’.
