International Cricket at Its Greatest

The 2026 season has seen the Home of Cricket reach new milestones and break records. Lord’s became the first Ground in the world to host 150 Test matches, as England Men beat New Zealand.

A sold-out ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Final between England and Australia followed, attracting 28,887 fans – the highest attendance for a women’s match in the UK.

Five days later, England played India in the first-ever women’s Test at Lord’s. More than 35,000 fans attended across the four days, setting a new attendance world record for a women’s Test, while Day Two drew 15,243 fans – another world record for a single day attendance.

The international season continued with a sold-out Metro Bank Men’s ODI between India and England, followed by England and Pakistan concluding the 2026 international season at Lord’s in a Men's Rothesay Test match.

The 2027 ticket ballot for internationals is now open for your chance to attend Lord's next summer.

2026 Test Matches at Lord's

Men's Test Matches

England v New Zealand: 4-8 Jun

The 150th Test match between England and New Zealand at Lord's saw an incredible atmosphere. 

England beat New Zealand by 115 runs on Day Four of the first Test match of the summer at the Home of Cricket.


England v Pakistan: 27-31 Aug

The England v Pakistan Test match brought the curtain down on this year's international cricket season at Lord’s.

England secured a dominant 194-run victory on Day Four, sealing the series and providing a memorable finale to the Test summer at the Home of Cricket.

Women's Test Match

England v India: 10-13 July

In another historic moment for Lord's, England Women played India in our first ever Women's Rothesay Test match. 

Exactly 50 years since Rachael Heyhoe Flint first led out an England Women's team at the Home of Cricket, Nat Sciver-Brunt led out her England side to face Harmanpreet Kaur's India.

More than 35,000 fans came through the gates across the four days, breaking the world record attendance for a women's Test match, with Day Two a particular standout, bringing in 15,243 fans, setting another world record for a single day attendance at a Women's Test match.

Tickets are not currently on sale to our two Rothesay Test matches at Lord's in 2027. 

You can enter the public ballot up until Monday 26 October to be in with a chance of securing tickets to an international at Lord's in 2027, including the Rothesay Men's Ashes Series.

The best chance to secure tickets for 2027 internationals at Lord's is by entering our open ticket ballot. No card details are required to enter.

It is a requirement that a ticket is purchased for any child over three years of age.

Babes-in-arms may be carried into Lord’s free of charge, so long as they will not occupy a seat themselves.

Under-16 ticket holders must be 15 years or younger on the day of the match. Any child ticket holder 14 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder.

By entering the public ticket ballot, you will have the opportunity to purchase Under-16 tickets if you are successful.

The only official site to purchase Test match tickets to Lord's is tickets.lords.org. Tickets go on general sale on Thursday 10 December.

A limited number of hospitality packages are available for Day 4.

Due to the unpredictable British weather, we suggest you are prepared for any eventuality. Some seating areas are uncovered, so we recommend bringing sun cream and an umbrella just in case.


Bring a Water Bottle

With 25 water fountains at Lord's, spectators are encouraged to bring their own refillable bottles to top-up around the ground.

Water fountains can be found behind the Grand Stand, the Compton Stand, the Mound Stand and the Allen Stand.


Can I bring my own Alcohol?

Adult spectators may bring alcoholic drinks into the Ground for Test matches at Lord's in one of the following descriptions and quantities:

(i) one bottle of wine or Champagne (max. 750ml); or (ii) two cans/bottles of beer/cider (max. 500ml each); or (iii) two cans of premixed aperitifs (max. 330ml each).

Bottles of spirits or fortified wines will not be allowed into the Ground. Amounts of alcohol in excess of these limits and any alcohol in excess of these limits will be confiscated. Under no circumstances will any spectator be re-admitted to the Ground at any time during the day if they are in possession of any alcohol. MCC reserves the right to confiscate any quantity of alcohol from any spectator.


What is not allowed?

Fancy dress, musical instruments and flags are not permitted at Lord’s.

Tickets for the wheelchair areas are available by emailing accessibility.tickets@mcc.org.uk or by calling the dedicated Club Services Accessibility ticket line on 020 7616 8653. Each wheelchair ticket holder may be issued with one free-of-charge carer/companion ticket. 

Applications for spaces in the wheelchair areas are available via the public ballot system, or on a first come, first served basis during general sale. Availability cannot be guaranteed.

Your 2027 Rothesay Test match tickets will become available no later than 1 month prior to the match via the official Lord's App.

You will receive a confirmation email of your ticket purchase after the transaction and then one month prior to the match you will be emailed that your tickets are in the Lord's App, with instructions on how to download the App for Apple and Andorid.
