Tommy Banks is a two-Michelin starred British chef and familiar face at Lord's, having previously hosted two Lord's Dining Clubs. Being the first chef to return to the Home of Cricket, Tommy comes back to lead an exceptional roster of chefs for the Finest Cut.
As chef-director of the Michelin-starred Black Swan in Oldstead and Roots in York, he is renowned for his seasonally driven, ingredient-led approach. Finest Cut is set to feature his North Yorkshire roots, shaped through his distinctive culinary philosophy.
Joining Tommy, Michelin-trained chef Kate Austen takes to the kitchen to deliver guests a stunning five-course meal.
Kate is known for her extraordinary career across some of the world's most demanding kitchens, where she worked as a senior development chef for Gordon Ramsey and spent several years at Copenhagen's two-Michelin starred Restaurant AOC. At AOC, she became the youngest female head chef of a two-star restaurant globally, and later as sous chef at the three-Michelin starred Restaurant Frantzén in Stockholm.
Kate then made history on BBC Two's Great British Menu in 2024, becoming the first female to win the main course. Her visit to Lord's marks her first appearance at the Home of Cricket.

Tommy Banks returns to the Home of Cricket for the second edition of Finest Cut. A familiar presence in the Edrich Restaurant on international match-days, Tommy returns outside a match-day to deliver two more exceptional days of Finest Cut.
Tom Shepherd joins Tommy to deliver two consecutive days of the Finest Cut. Tom, a Michelin-starred British chef celebrated for his refined, modern British cuisine, is applauded for his commitment to seasonal, flavour-led cooking.
Tom opened his first solo restaurant, Upstairs by Tom Shepherd, in 2021 and just four months later the restaurant was awarded a Michelin star - making it the first in Staffordshire to receive this prestigious accolade.
Tom also returns to Lord’s after making a standout appearance at Lord’s Dining Club in 2024, where he showcased his contemporary cooking with a bespoke multi-course menu in the historic Long Room. His return brings his distinctive culinary style back to the Home of Cricket.
