Ballot FAQs

Ticket information

Demand for international cricket at Lord’s remains exceptionally strong, with the highest number of pre-registrations received than in any non-Ashes year. The Lord’s Ticket Ballot will open to the public at 10.00 on Thursday 21 September, and close at noon on Monday 9 October.

New for the 2024 ballot, we’ve introduced a Family & Friends group function allowing you to add people with an MCC/Lord’s account, to your ballot application and apply for tickets on their behalf. Click here for more information and our How To Guide for adding your friends and family.

As per 2023, , we’ve simplified our seating categories including one mid-range category for all wheelchair seating and free carer tickets, and unlimited U16 tickets in all general admission areas across all international matches.

U16 pricing for the weekend days of the two Test matches is available at only £15 whilst U16 tickets start from a very affordable £5 for the women’s T20I, enabling families of cricket fans to enjoy a weekend or evening of international cricket.

Adult general admission prices for the men’s Test matches range between £65 and £125, comparable to – indeed lower – than other blue riband sporting and premium London events

Adult ticket prices remain at 2023 levels for the England v New Zealand women’s T20I, starting from just £20, with an additional family bundle available for two adults and two U16s - with the U16s going free of charge..

There will be further matches made available at lower price points over the coming months when the domestic schedule is announced, including family-friendly competitions The Hundred and Vitality Blast.

For the first time in international cricket at Lord’s, and following feedback from supporters in 2023, we have introduced an Alcohol-Free Family Stand, in which alcohol will not be permitted to be consumed in that area.

Thanks for your interest in tickets for Lord's International match days in 2024.

The ballot is open from 10.00 on Thursday 21 September and will close at 12.00 on Monday 9 October 2023. You can apply at any time during this period, with no advantage to applying early.

Please only apply for tickets to which you are fully committed. If you are successful, payment will be taken immediately from your chosen debit/credit card upon allocation of seats. For example, if you apply for tickets for all four available international matches and you happen to be successful in all four ballots, you will be committed to pay for all seats allocated to you.

Tickets will be available via the Lord’s App. Should you prefer, Print-at-Home tickets will be available through your online account within one month of the match date.

Wheelchair and accessible seating tickets are also available via the ballot.

Successful applicants will be notified in the week commencing 23 October.

If you are unsuccessful, you'll still have the chance to buy tickets once the ballot process has concluded. All remaining tickets will go on General Sale at 10.00 on 15 December. Tickets will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis.

We are pleased to provide one free ticket to any guest that requires a companion or assistant to accompany them on a match day, in addition to your ticket, which will be reduced in price to Category D. To apply for this, please click on the £0 companion option within the same section.

For more details regarding Accessibility at Lord’s, please review this webpage: Accessibility | Lord's (lords.org) or call our dedicated Accessibility line on 020 7616 8653.

Tickets for Day 5 of each Test match will be made available to purchase on a first-come, first-served basis, via tickets.lords.org at a later date.

Please keep an eye on email communications from the Club regarding these tickets.

We are delighted to introduce the Family and Friends function, which will allow you to link your Lord’s account to those of your Family and Friends (up to a maximum of four accounts in a group). Linking your account to your Family and Friends group will assist us in linking your ballot applications and locating you seats together should some/all of you be successful in the ballot draw.

In order to have seats located together with your Family and Friends, please note that the lead member of the Family and Friend group enters a ballot application on behalf of the whole group. For example, if your group is wishing to obtain 8 tickets to the Australia ODI, the application should reflect this. Applicants that are successful will be placed together, subject to availability.

Further information and a step-to-step guide can be found below.

We understand that not all ticket-holders may wish to make use of the Lord’s App. Therefore, should you prefer, Print-at-Home tickets will be available through your online account within one month of the match day.

Further communication will follow this in early 2024 should you be successful in the ballot.

If you have a preferred Wheelchair-seating area, you will be able to register this preference through an online form, via a link in your confirmation email, which you will receive after completing your application. If you are successful, we will make every effort to place you in your preferred area, but this cannot be guaranteed.

One of the Club Services team may contact you to discuss your requirements, and DLA or PIP documentation may be requested.

For more details regarding Accessibility at Lord’s, please review this webpage: Accessibility | Lord's (lords.org) or call our dedicated Accessibility line on 020 7616 8653.

If you are applying for wheelchair-seating and are in a group of more than two people, we will make every effort to locate your group as close to each other as possible, but please note that due to space restrictions in the Wheelchair-areas it may not always be possible for the seats to be immediately adjacent.

In order to ensure a welcoming environment for all, we have introduced an Alcohol-Free Family stand area for our international matches in 2024.

The importation or consumption of any alcoholic drinks into these areas shall not be permitted. If you are interested in seating in these areas, please do select the ‘Family Alcohol-free’ option when completing your ballot application for the relevant match day.

Please note that these areas are not strictly reserved for family groups but for all ticket holders who would prefer to watch cricket in an alcohol-free environment.

Premium category seating is not available via the Public Ticket Ballot, however, our Premium Seating team would be delighted to hear from you.

Please click here for more information: Premium Seating.

With the overwhelming volume of applications received, it’s not possible to select your exact seat within the ballot. We will run the ballot and allocate all winners a seat within the category of the ticket requested.

That seat may be allocated anywhere within the areas available for that category, as shown on the Ground Plan within the ballot process.

The Ground plan shows where each category of seating is available. Successful ballot applicants may be allocated a seat anywhere within the areas shown for that category.

If your preferred category is not available, we will cascade applications down to the next available category/price point. We would never select a seat for you at a higher price than the one you indicated.

We accept all major debit and credit cards, including American Express.

Yes, you can amend your application multiple times up until 12.00 on Monday 9 October 2023.  Before you submit your ballot request for the final time, we recommend that you review any match days where a green tick is displayed (see below), as this indicates that you have made a request for tickets to that match day.

The information indicated on your application as of 12.00 on Monday 9 October will be taken as final.
