What is classed as Restricted View Seating?
A Restricted View seat is classed as: a General Admission Ticket that has a full and uninterrupted view of the playing wicket but may have (a) between 20 - 40% of the outfield obscured; (b) a replay screen/scoreboard obscured or not visible; and/or (c) something may be in the line of sight. You can see the view from all seats here.
Will I only be entered in the ballot for the specific seating category I have selected as my preference?
We’ll run the ballot and allocate the initial tickets we have available in the original ticket category and stand location as indicated in your application.
To maximise opportunity for success, we will also include your application for a lower ticket category (not including restricted view) and other stands. You may therefore be allocated tickets at a lower ticket price or in an alternate stand location.
We will not allocate you tickets at a higher price than the one you selected as your preferred.
Where will my seats be allocated if I win in the ballot?
Please first select the category of ticket you wish to apply for, you will then get the opportunity to choose from a specific stand of seating within that category. We will make best efforts to allocate seats in the category and stand you have requested. The Ground plan shows where each category of seating is available.
Please note that Block 1 of Compton Stand is category D and is no-alcohol seating.
Can I choose my exact seat?
With the overwhelming volume of applications received, it’s not possible to select your exact seat within the ballot.
We will run the ballot and allocate all winners a seat within the category of the ticket requested, and wherever possible in the preferred stand.

If you have a preferred Wheelchair-seating area, you will be able to register this preference through an online form, via a link in your confirmation email, which you will receive after completing your application. If you are successful, we will make every effort to place you in your preferred area, but this cannot be guaranteed.
We are pleased to provide one complimentary carer ticket for those that require a companion or assistant to accompany them on a match day. To apply for this, please click on the £0 Companion option within the same section.
One of the Club Services team may contact you to discuss your requirements, and DLA or PIP documentation may be requested.

If you are applying for wheelchair-seating and are in a group of more than two people, we will make every effort to locate your group as close to each other as possible, but please note that due to space restrictions in Wheelchair-areas, it may not always be possible for the seats to be immediately adjacent.
I have accessibility requirements; how do I indicate this on my ballot application form?
In order to apply for ambulant-disabled seating, please complete your ballot application fully, selecting the area you wish to apply for. Upon completion you will receive a confirmation email, which contains a link to an online form in which you can share your accessibility requirements. Should you be successful in the ballot, we will cross-reference the information provided and allocate seating suitable to your needs.
We are pleased to provide one complimentary ticket to any guest that requires a carer to accompany them on a match day, in addition to your own ticket, which will be reduced in price to Category D. To apply for this, please click on the £0 carer option within the same section.
One of the Club Services team may contact you to discuss your requirements, and DLA or PIP documentation may be requested.

Will there be an option to select Family or no-alcohol seating?
In order to ensure a welcoming environment for all, we will operate a no-alcohol family stand area in Block 1 of Compton Stand for our international matches in 2025.
The importation or consumption of any alcoholic drinks into these areas shall not be permitted. If you are interested in seating in these areas, please do select the ‘No-Alcohol’ option, in Compton Stand, when completing you ballot application for the relevant match day. Please note that this area is not strictly reserved for families, but for any ticket holders who would prefer to watch cricket in an alcohol-free environment.
How and when will I receive my tickets?
All Public Stand tickets for 2025 will be available via the Lord’s App at the start of the 2025 cricket season.
Ticketholders will require an Android or Apple smartphone in order to download the App.
Further communication will follow this in early 2025 should you be successful in the ballot.
When will payment be taken if I am successful?
Debit / Credit card details will need to be entered at point of completion of the ballot application. Payment from successful applicants will only be taken upon the allocation of seats, and not before Monday 25 November. Payment will be taken for all tickets you have successfully applied for in the ballot at this time.
Can I enter the ballot pages more than once to complete my application over a number of days?
Yes, you can amend your application multiple times up until 17.00 on Sunday 17 November 2024. Before you submit your ballot request for the final time, we recommend that you review any match days where a green tick is displayed (see below), as this indicates that you have made a request for tickets to that match day.
The information indicated on your application as of 17.00 on Sunday 17 November will be taken as final.
Will there be a resale platform in operation?
We are pleased to provide a ticket resale facility, providing those who are no longer able to attend our most popular match days with a secure platform through which to obtain a refund on tickets resold to those who were not previously able to buy tickets for the match day. This resale platform will only be available for matches which are fully sold out. Please note that you will not receive a refund unless your tickets are purchased by another spectator. Please also note that, if active, the resale platform will close a week before the commencement of the match for which the window is open.
What are the rules around Under-16, unaccompanied children and infant tickets?
Under-16 ticket holders must be 16 years or younger on the day of the match.
Any child ticket holder 14 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult ticketholder.
Please note that, as per our Terms and Conditions, applications for Junior Tickets can only be made together with an Application for an Adult Ticket.
Any babes-in-arms may be carried into the ground free-of-charge, so long as they will not occupy a seat themselves. A ticket is required for any child three years of age or over on the day of the match.
