Howzart! competition

In 2014 we will be celebrating the 200th anniversary of Lord’s!

To mark this special milestone we are giving young people the chance to have their artwork displayed as part of a mural at Lord’s Cricket Ground for years to come.

We have teamed up with acclaimed artist Darren Baker, whose work will feature alongside the winning entries.

Entry deadline is Friday 11th April 2014

Darren Baker Biography:

How to Enter

Step 1 - Registration

To register your interest, please fill in the form below.

Step 2 – Produce and submit artwork

Children wishing to enter need to produce individual pieces of artwork A4 in size to be submitted by the school. The artwork should be inspired by the 200th anniversary of Lord’s. This could be anything from a cricket bat and ball, through to our iconic J.P. Morgan Media centre.

All entries need to be posted or hand-delivered to the address below:

Who is eligible?

The competition is open to pupils in Key Stages 2, 3 or 4. 

Additional opportunities

We are also able to offer the first schools to register from within the Westminster and Tri-borough areas of Hammersmith & Fulham and Kensington & Chelsea the following opportunities:

•    A school assembly with Darren Baker
•    An art workshop at Lord’s

Please note due to popular demand the workshops and school assemblies are now fully booked.

Winning individual entries will receive the following

•    An invitation to contribute to the painting of the mural, transforming their artwork into the real thing!
•    An invitation to the official unveiling of the mural at the MCC v Rest of the World match on 5th July 2014.
•    Additional tickets for the above match
