Welcome back: We’re Re-opening!

MCC is very pleased to be re-opening the Lord’s Indoor Cricket Centre for customers on Monday 17 August, following our closure due to COVID-19.

The Centre will run limited services to allow for physical distancing, with smaller class sizes for our children’s coaching courses, and only alternate nets in use. Unfortunately, at present Kids Parties, Group Matches and Indoor Cricket Centre Packages are not available but we hope to offer these services soon.

In addition, we have introduced a range of measures aimed at keeping our customers and staff safe. These include temperature checks on arrival, regular sanitisation breaks and an enhanced cleaning regime throughout the day and overnight.

Summer holiday courses, coaching and net hire

We will run two-day summer holiday courses of 3 hours’ duration each day from 17-27 August, catering for a range of age groups and with a limit of 12 children per class.

We will also be open for 1-to-1 coaching, as well as normal net hire for groups of up to five players. Bowling machines can be hired with a coach, including our Merlyn spin bowling machine and the Trueman fast bowling machine; both with LED technology for a more realistic experience.

Batting analysis will be available through PitchVision but distancing guidelines mean that we won’t be able to operate Hawk-eye for bowling analysis from our Performance Analysis Suite quite yet.

Details of services available and how to book can be found here.

In order to be able to reopen we have followed all of the required Government guidelines and advice and we ask that all visitors to the Centre follow our guidance on staying safe and protecting those around you.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the Lord’s Indoor Cricket Centre.

Participants should arrive 10 minutes before the session to register at the reception of the Indoor Cricket Centre. Please also ensure that if your child has any allergies, ailments and/or requires any medication that you inform the Indoor Cricket Centre reception and leave anything that he or she may require during the Course with one of MCC’s representatives.

Finally, please ensure that your child is picked up from the Indoor Cricket Centre at the end of the Course. MCC accepts no responsibility for supervision of any children following the conclusion of the Course.

Entry for the Indoor Cricket Centre is via the North Gate off Wellington Place. Parking at Lord’s is limited and subject to availability (on a first come first served basis only). On Match Days there is no parking available anywhere in the Ground.
