Covid-19 Update

It is with regret that MCC has taken the decision to close the Lord’s Indoor Cricket Centre until at least the end of May 2020, due to the outbreak of Covid-19.

Following the Government's recommendation to avoid any non-essential social gatherings and in the interest of safety for all our staff, Lord’s is in a partial shutdown.

MCC is sorry to bring you this news and for any inconvenience it may cause you. All those affected by these cancellations will be contacted individually and, where appropriate, offered the choice of re-scheduling or accepting a full refund.

The Indoor Cricket Centre has eight indoor nets, with 'SuperGrasse' playing surface. Nets can be booked for practice all year round.

All nets have shock absorbers at the bowling crease to protect the bowlers from injury, in additon, the fast bowling lanes have shock absorbers from the start of the runup.

The Indoor Cricket Centre has a 'breathable' design, making it ideal to allow sunlight (but no hard shadows due to special sails in the roof) and natural air flowing throughout the building - ideal for practice all year round!
