A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen within our Hospitality Operations Department for a Hospitality Coordinator (Restaurants & Debentures).

The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination and sales of the restaurant business within (but not limited to) MCC restaurants located at Lord’s Cricket Ground, helping to develop the restaurant products, administrate dining ballots, allocating reservations and overall supporting the hospitality team with match day delivery.

Match Day responsibilities include supporting the Hospitality Manager (Restaurants) in the management, briefing and co-ordination across all restaurants. It is essential that the service across these areas are delivered to the highest standards that are expected of the Catering at Lord’s Cricket Ground. The Coordinator will be required to have an in-depth knowledge of MCC’s restaurant and hospitality offerings.

The role involves working closely with the Premium Seating Sales Team as well as liaising with MCC members and Debenture Holders, ensuring their restaurant requirements are met for both domestic and international matches.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Passion to work within the hospitality, restaurant and/or events industry.
  • High level of initiative, with administrative and organisational ability.
  • An understanding of the importance of customer service/satisfaction.
  • Tact, discretion and the ability to work quickly under pressure maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • IT literate, including Word, Excel & Outlook.
  • Financial literacy.
