As it Happened

That's it for the day. England's late wickets keep them very much in the hunt for a victory here, while Sri Lanka will be hoping their skipper Angelo Mathews can join Kumar Sangakkara on the Honours Boards on the fourth morning.

Jordan gets his man

A corker of a delivery from Jordan as he uses the Lord's slope to find the outside edge of Kulasekara's bat. Prior takes another catch behind the stumps.

What a catch!

Ian Bell snaffles a fantastic catch at leg-slip and Plunkett has his first wicket of the match. P Jayawardene departs for just 6.

Sangakkara departs

Moeen Ali picks up a decent first Test wicket, as Sangakkara reaches for a wide one and edges through to Prior. What an innings from Kumar though. . . on to the Honours Board for the first time in his long career.

Beverages all round

It's been a long day for the England bowlers, with just the 3 wickets for their efforts. Time for a drink.
