J.B. Hobbs 119 v AustraliaBack to boards

Sir Jack Hobbs got his third consecutive Lord's century when he hit 119 versus Australia in 1926.

After Australia had posted a total of 383 all out, all eyes were on Hobbs to see if he could score yet another hundred at the Home of Cricket.

Hobbs' eventual score of 119 saw him hit 14 fours in an innings that lasted 247 minutes.

It was to be his last century at Lord's, but it was an important knock nonetheless, as it helped England prevent a potential defeat as the match closed as a draw after three days.
