Ground Regulations for the ICC World Test Championship

Separate Ground Regulations will be in place for the ICC Men’s World Test Championship Final and will replace the MCC Ground Regulations.
A summary of the fundamental differences is set out below.
  • The ICC Business Corporation FZ LLC (IBC) as a stakeholder and rights holder, including for matters of Data Protection, Risks, Waiver and Indemnity.
  • ICC’s Anti-Discrimination Code is applicable
  • Recognition that IBC is the sole owner of the copyright and any other intellectual property rights for any video or sound recordings that are not taken for private, non-commercial and non-promotional purposes.
  • Any camera tripods, monopods, camera equipment or commercial digital video equipment or sound recording equipment is strictly prohibited unless authorised by IBC.
  • The taking of photographs and all types of filming in the Pavilion are prohibited save with the prior authorisation, in writing, of IBC.
  • Field of play access permission is at the discretion of IBC.
  • Musical instruments are not permitted in the Ground without prior approval. If someone has a ticket for a seat in the Compton or Edrich Upper stands, and a musical instrument is able to fit safely and securely under their seat, subject to their obtaining MCC’s prior written approval, in MCC’s absolute discretion, at least 21 days prior to the match via wtcfregs@mcc.og.uk, as to the suitability and safety of such musical instrument, they may be able to bring such musical instrument into Lord’s.
  • Besides fancy dress costume and/or oversized hats, face paint is also prohibited save that team/country shirts and national colours are permitted.
  • Handheld country flags with a maximum size of A3 (29.7 cm x 42 cm or 11.7” x 16.5”) are permitted. Flag poles are not permitted.
  • Handheld supporter cricket-related banners with a maximum size of A3 (29.7 cm x 42 cm or 11.7” x 16.5”) are permitted.
  • In the event that the Ground Regulations for the ICC World Test Championship Final are in conflict with the Terms and Conditions applicable to tickets for the match, the latter shall take precedence.
