ICC World Test Championship Final

The ICC World Test Championship Final is coming to Lord's in 2025. Here's what you need to know.

The ICC World Test Championship Final comes to Lord’s

The Home of Cricket will host the ICC World Test Championship Final with first-time finalists South Africa set to battle it out against defending champions, Australia, starting on Wednesday 11 June.

It will be the first of two international Test matches at Lord's in 2025 and will be a showcase event to start the international summer.

The final is the Ultimate Test between the two top sides in the last two years of the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle.

South Africa became the first side to secure their spot at Lord's thanks to a thrilling victory over Pakistan in their Boxing Day Test Match.

That victory saw the Proteas secure their spot in the World Test Championship Final for the first time and comes on the back of seven wins in their last 11 matches.

Australia’s 3-1 series victory in the Border Gavaskar Trophy against India means they will have the chance to retain their World Test Championship crown.

Adult tickets start from just £45 and U16s from £15. Click below to sign up for the 48-hr ICC Priority Ticket window which opens at 10am (GMT) on Wednesday 29 January.

General sale tickets will then be made available from 10am (GMT) on Friday 31 January. You will need an active Lord's Ticketing Account to purchase tickets. Register or login here.
