Lord’s Dining Club returns with exciting line-up of Michelin-starred chefs

Posted: 29 March 2022

MCC is delighted to announce the next series of chefs that will form the fourth series of Lord’s Dining Club.

Launched in 2018 to honour the age-old traditions of MCC with innovative cooking from world-renowned Michelin-starred chefs, Lord’s Dining Club has gone from strength to strength in recent years and the Club has today revealed the next three dates and the chefs who will star at the Home of Cricket.

On Tuesday 15 November 2022, Mark Birchall kicks off the 2022/23 series before Niall Keating will be at Lord’s on Tuesday 13 December. Then on Wednesday 29 March 2023, Tommy Banks becomes the first chef to return to the Lord’s Dining Club.

Each event will take place in the famous Grade II*-listed Lord’s Pavilion, including a sparkling wine reception with a selection of MCC canapés in the Long Room Bar – or in the famous Home Dressing Room for those who wish to indulge with a VIP package – before a four-course menu in the historic surroundings of the Long Room.

The four-course menus, with matching wine flights, are exclusively designed by the evening’s host Michelin-starred chef. A Q&A session, hosted by a cricketing personality, will delve into the chefs’ successful careers as well as exploring the menu choices guests will be enjoying on the evening. The evening will conclude with after dinner drinks.

"Lord’s Dining Club is becoming one of the most popular experiences at Lord’s"

Andy Muggleton, Assistant Secretary (Commercial) at MCC commented: “Lord’s Dining Club is becoming one of the most popular experiences at Lord’s.

"To be able to spend an evening in the iconic Long Room, enjoying Michelin-starred quality food cooked by some of the world’s greatest chefs is truly incredible.

"We’re delighted to be working with Mark, Niall and Tommy and look forward to welcoming guests for the 2022/23 series”.
