Eoin Morgan, Chair of MCC Cricket committee, said: "Having been in post as Chair of the MCC Cricket committee since last October, it has been a privilege to work closely with the team at MCC to help shape the Cricket Strategy. The Club's vision, of being the finest cricket club in the world, working for the good of the game, is well represented in these plans and I am positive that this will not only ensure MCC's evolving role in the game, but have a positive impact on cricket on a global scale."
Rob Lynch, Director of Cricket and Operations, said:
“This is a modern and up-to-date Cricket Strategy for the Club. It is a balance between understanding the history and heritage at MCC, and evolving with the changing nature of the game.
“We firmly believe we have a crucial and unique role to play within the game, both domestically and around the world.
“This document represents the culmination of a huge amount of work for the Club’s Cricket committee and our staff, and we look forward to executing the plans over the next four years”.
