Match is to be played at Birley’s Playing Fields off St. Stephen's Road, Canterbury, Kent. Entrance to the ground is at St. Stephen's level crossing, St. Stephen's Road. The ground lies behind St. Stephen's Church, on the outskirts of the city. Train - to either Canterbury East or Canterbury West Stations, and then by taxi. After leaving the M2 motorway and following the A2 towards Canterbury and Dover for about five miles, slip off the dual carriageway to the left and follow the signs to Canterbury. After a further mile or so of single carriageway, you will come to a short stretch of dual again, leading to: Roundabout 1 - turn left following signs to Canterbury West Station / University. Continue for about 1/2 mile along the tree lined London Road towards: Roundabout 2 (mini), St Dunstan's Roundabout - turn right towards Canterbury West Station. Approaching the West Gate Towers, cross over the level crossing towards: Roundabout 3 (mini), West Gate Roundabout - turn left immediately before the Towers. Follow North Lane (past North Lane short stay car park) for about 300m to: Roundabout 4 (mini), Causeway Roundabout* - for Birley's and Blore's, continue straight across following signs to Leisure Centre / Broad Oak. This is St Stephen's Road, and if you are going to the Recreation Centre (Blore's), then slow down and turn left up into the car park about 100m past the pelican crossing. For Birley's, continue along St Stephen's Road a further 200m towards: Roundabout 5, St Stephen's Roundabout - turn left following signs to University / Tyler Hill. After 200m you will cross over the railway again and immediately turn right into Birley's. * For the Main School, turn right over the river immediately before this roundabout, following signs to Marlowe Theatre, and continue past the Miller's Field long stay car park for 100m. At the T junction, turn left signed to coach / long stay car park. Go past St Radigan's long stay car park ( less than five minutes walk to School) on the left, and after about 100m by The Dolphin pub, take care turning right (vehicles can come the other way in the middle of the road) and continue to the next T junction - another 100m. Turn left and then give way 25m ahead at the next junction. The Mint Yard Gate is straight ahead of you.
