Level-Up is a chance for you to enhance your work-readiness and gain employment or gain valuable experience volunteering here at Lord’s Cricket Ground.
Attendance and completion of the three-day bootcamp gives you a guaranteed opportunity to get a job at Lord's.
Interviews to be held on the final day of our work readiness bootcamp.
Get guidance from industry experts to identify your transferable skills and experiences that can boost your CV.
Interview preperation skills and a walk through of the recruitment process.
Participants who end up on the young volunteer pathway can gain real life transferable skills and experiences that will enhance their CV through joining us for some of the world’s biggest national and international cricket matches at the most famous cricket ground in the world.
After your volunteer experience, together we will: identify how volunteering directly helps you get work-ready and translate your real experiences into transferable skills and examples. After which, you will have a chance to interview again for a casual role here at Lord’s.
Attend all three days off our work readiness bootcamps.
Be willing to volunteer to gain more experience at a minimum of 5 matches between June and August 2023 if unsuccessful at first interview.
Bring a can-do attitude and a willingness to push yourself
Receive direct training and support before and throughout the programme
Experience major national and international games at a world-class sporting venue
Young volunteers will also have access other perks including travel expenses, meal on volunteering shifts, and one free ticket to a match at Lord’s in 2022

Volunteering Shifts
If you are invited on the programme and need to gain more experience through volunteering, then you will be asked your availability for volunteer shift for matches through the summer. Shifts to be confirmed.

Where does this take place?
The entire Level Up Programme will be based at Lord’s Cricket Ground (St John’s Wood Rd, NW8 8QN). Lord’s is easily accessible via frequent bus routes, and walking distance from various underground stations (St John’s Wood, Marylebone, Baker St).
