In only his second Test match Lords.org columnist, Steve Finn, helped England to victory again as they beat Bangladesh by nine wickets in Mirpur.
As reported on Lords.org Finn made a victorious Test debut last week - taking 2-95 as England took a 1-0 Series lead, winning by 181-runs in Chittagong.
Once again, in hot, trying conditions Finn put in a stellar effort with the ball - taking a wicket in each innings to end with figures of 2-82.
Finn's first victim was another man with strong links to Lord's - former MCC Young Cricketer Mahmadullah.
Batting at five for Bangladesh, the talented all-rounder had scored a doubty 59 from 106 balls before Finn tempted him to edge one to Paul Collingwood in the gully.
In the second innings, on a drying pitch favouring spin, quick bowler Finn put in another strong stint of seam bowling, finding reverse swing and good pace.
As Bangladesh tried to bat out time to save a draw, Finn removed tail-ender Abdur Razzak with a sharp delivery trapping him LBW.
Finn's Test call-up means he had to withdraw from the MCC side to face Durham in Abu Dhabi. He'll soon be returning to England to make ready for Middlesex's County season.
Finn will also be hoping to retain his place in the Test side ahead of the first Test of the England summer: England v Bangladesh at Lord's at the end of May.
Earlier, in May, England head to the Caribbean for the ICC World Twenty20. Finn has already been named in the provisional 30-man squad but was largely considered to be an outsider for the final 15-man squad which is confirmed on 30 March.
Bowling with control and aggression in tough, hot conditions, under the noses of the England coaching staff may have furthered Finn's claims for a place in the squad for that format too.
More Finn Line
In the space of a few weeks, Finn has gone from England Lion, to the England T20 squad and now two Test caps. He'll write about it all, exclusively, for Lords.org.
