A fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, customer-focussed Retail Team Leader (RTL) to join the Retail Team at MCC has arisen. This role will efficiently deliver the running of match and non-match day Shops - dealing with customer returns, exchanges, and queries in a proactive manner. The RTL will assist with the efficient and profitable online and customer-facing shopfloor operations of the MCC, and Lord’s Shops on match and non-match days, to maximise sales and exceed budget, while aiding with the efficient operation of stock procedures.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent customer service skills with a guest-focussed attitude. 
  • Punctual and willing to be flexible. 
  • Confident, outgoing, and enthusiastic.
  • Trustworthy, hardworking, proactive and reliable with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and English language skills.
  • Supervising and assigning tasks to Retail Casuals.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Collaborate enthusiastically with all team members and offer to support them when needed.
  • Experience of working in a customer-facing role, at an event, sport, or similar environment. 
  • Working within the stock room environments by assisting with the intake of deliveries and ensuring sufficient flow of product to Shop floors. 
  • Reporting discrepancies and problems to a Manager.
