Bramall was elected to the MCC Committee twice and served a three-year term as a Trustee from 1994 to 1997. He was President of MCC in 1988-89, for which period he also chaired the International Cricket Conference.
A fine cricketer in his youth, Bramall became a Member of MCC in 1949 and at the time of his death he was one of the longest-serving Members of the Club.
