Renowned chefs Tom Aikens and Chantelle Nicholson have today been announced as hosts for the third year of the award-winning Lord’s Dining Club

Lord's Dining Club is a fine dining event where guests enjoy an exclusively designed four-course menu, with paired wines, created by some of the world’s greatest chefs at Lord’s Cricket Ground.

Aikens, who became the youngest British chef to be awarded two Michelin stars, will launch the first event at Lord’s in 2020 on Wednesday 25th March. Founder of Tom’s Kitchen in Chelsea, the celebrated chef is known for his sophisticated and creative British dishes executed with technical flair, and will be the eighth Michelin-starred chef to host Lord’s Dining Club.

Multi-award winning Nicholson is one of the UK’s leading females in the hospitality world, and will host the second event on Thursday 7th May. Chef patron of Tredwells in London’s West End, she has enjoyed an impressive rise on the culinary career ladder, and her New Zealand roots inspire her fresh and vibrant menus.

James de Groot, Food and Beverage Executive Manager at Lord’s, said: “We are thrilled to announce Tom and Chantelle as the first guest chefs for the 2020 series of Lord’s Dining Club, for what has become a highlight in the Lord’s calendar.

"Their talent and passion will be showcased in their truly exciting and innovative menus"

"They have both accomplished remarkable feats in the catering world, and their talent and passion will be showcased in their truly exciting and innovative menus. Guests will be treated to an unforgettable experience, and Lord’s Dining Club is a must for any food enthusiasts.”

The evening concludes with diners gaining an exclusive insight into the careers of the host chefs, their menu creations for the event and a range of other topics in a Q&A session, hosted by former England cricketer Angus Fraser. There is also the option to upgrade to a VIP experience, which includes an intimate drinks reception on arrival held in the famous Lord’s Dressing Rooms, with the guests joined by the host chef, and Fraser.

Lord’s Dining Club tickets are available to purchase priced £165 and £220 for the VIP experience (excluding VAT). For more information and to purchase tickets, visit lords.org/diningclub.
