Daniel Vettori secured his spot on the ODI Honours Boards when he took 5-30 for New Zealand in their victory over West Indies in the NatWest series final at Lord's.

After New Zealand had posted a healthy, but beatable, score of 266 in 49.2 overs, West Indies entered the crease with confidence of sealing success.

However, an in-form Vettori sealed the headlines, taking five wickets and being involved in two run-outs.

Vettori claimed the wickets of Brian Lara, Shiv Chanderpaul, DJ Bravo, Dwayne Smith and Ricardo Powell to seal his spot on the ODI Honours Boards and to also secure trophy success for his country at the Home of Cricket.
