G.A.R. Lock 5-17 v New ZealandBack to boards

Graham Lock’s only five-wicket haul at Lord’s came against New Zealand in 1958, in his first Test match at the Home of Cricket.

He ended the first innings with figures of 5 for 17, his first dismissal being the New Zealand captain John Reid, causing New Zealand to be all out for 47 and requiring to follow on to reach a target of 269.

In the second innings Lock took another four wickets, including the last two of the match, as New Zealand were bowled out for 74, leaving Lock with some remarkable match figures of 9 for 29.
