J.P. Behrendorff 5-44 v EnglandBack to boards

Jason Behrendorff added his name to the Limited-Overs Honours Boards with a scintillating display of bowling during Australia’s 64-run victory against England in the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup.

After Australia had posted a total of 285-7, Behrendorff wasted no time in unsettling England’s openers in their response with James Vince departing after just two balls.

The pace bowler continued to show his talents and proved a thorn in England’s batting line-up, by claiming the valuable wicket of Jonny Bairstow, before dismissing Chris Woakes, Moeen Ali and Jofra Archer to claim his place in Lord’s history.

England finished 221 all out after 44.4 overs, as Australia sealed the win by 64 runs
