K.H. Brunt 5-25 v South AfricaBack to boards

One of the most successful fast bowlers in women’s cricket history, Katherine Brunt’s 5 for 25 against South Africa in 2008 was only the second Limited Overs five wicket-haul by an English International at Lord’s, after Darren Gough in 1997.

Her dominant display of pace bowling helped bowl South Africa out for just 85 as England won by an astonishing 225 runs.

Lord’s has proved to be a happy hunting ground for Brunt throughout her career, as it was also the scene of her career-best T20 international performance (3 for 6 off four overs) in the 2009 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 Final, as well as the unforgettable victory over India in the 2017 Women's World Cup Final.
