Khan Mohammad 5-61 v EnglandBack to boards

Khan Mohammad made the Honours Boards when he took 5-61 in just his second Test, during the drawn match between England and Pakistan at Lord’s.

In what was their first Test match at the Home of Cricket, Pakistan could only manage 87 in their first innings after being put into bat by England.

With the new ball, Khan Mohammad stepped up for his side, taking five wickets for 61 runs, claiming the dismissals of Sir Len Hutton, Bill Edrich, Peter May, Godfrey Evans and Trevor Bailey to force England to declare with a score of 117/9 while also becoming the first-ever Pakistan player on the Honours Boards.

In the second innings, Pakistan frustrated England by managing to hold on to a historic draw after five tough days at Lord’s.
