K.L Rahul 129 v EnglandBack to boards

KL Rahul reached the Honours Boards with a score of 129 during the 2021 England v India LV=Insurance Test.

After England had won the toss and elected to field, Rahul showed his class with a wonderful display with the bat in difficult overcast conditions, sharing an opening stand of 126 with Rohit Sharma.

Becoming the first Indian player to write his name in Lord’s history since 2014, Rahul’s patient yet superb display came to an end when he was dismissed by Ollie Robinson on Day Two for 129 off 250 balls.

His innings, which featured 12 fours and a six helped guide the way for a promising looking first innings total for India as he departed with their scoreboard reading 278-4.
