M.D. Crowe 142 v EnglandBack to boards

Martin Crowe claimed his second spot on the Lord's Honours Boards when he hit another impressive century at the Home of Cricket with a score of 142.

After winning the toss and deciding to bat first, New Zealand scored 476 in their opening innings, with Crowe being the only player to reach three figures.

Having arrived at the crease with New Zealand 67-3, Crowe hit 20 fours and three sixes, facing 255 balls in a stupendous knock.

However, England went on to hang on to a draw after five days, with New Zealand failing to claim the final two wickets in what would have been a brilliant victory.
