M.J. North 6-55 v PakistanBack to boards

Marcus North added his name to the Honours Boards when he took 6-55 during the 2010 neutral Test between Australia and Pakistan.

More regarded as a batsman than a bowler, North provided a surprise addition to the Honours Boards when his six wickets tore through Pakistan’s batting line-up during their second innings.

After Shane Watson took 5-40 in the first innings and with Australia setting a target of 440, North was on top-form with the ball, dismissing Salman Butt, Umar Amin, Umar Akmal,
Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Amir and Danish Kaneria to claim a spot on the famous Boards.

The display by North meant Pakistan crumbled to 289 all out, securing a win for Australia by 150 runs.
