R.G.D. Willis 6-101 v IndiaBack to boards

Bob Willis sealed his final spot on the Lord's Honours Boards when he took six wickets for 101 runs during India's visit to the Home of Cricket in 1982.

England had posted a score of 433 in their first innings and after India only managed 128 in reply, the visitors were asked to follow-on, giving Willis the opportunity to extend his wicket tally.

Despite Kapil Dev trying his best to disrupt the England batting with a score of 89 off only 55 balls, Willis still showed his class, taking a six-wicket haul with 101 runs conceded.

India could only set England a target of 65 runs, to which the hosts got within 19 overs.
