MCC Affiliates

Applications are now open for Candidates wishing to become MCC Affiliates from 2027. Affiliate status offers a range of benefits and privileges, including enhanced access to Lord's and match days throughout the season.

What is Affiliate status?

Affiliate status provides Candidates on the waiting list greater opportunities to enjoy Lord's and engage with the Club before your eventual election to Full membership.

For an annual fee of £90 in 2027, Affiliates receive a range of additional benefits beyond those available to Candidates, including access to Members' areas on selected match days, the ability to introduce guests on certain occasions, a digital Affiliate Pass and access to an exclusive Affiliate product range.

Frequently asked questions

No. If you are an existing Candidate, becoming an Affiliate is entirely optional. If you choose not to become an Affiliate, you will remain a Candidate and your position on the waiting list for Full membership will not be affected.
You will remain a Candidate and continue progressing on the waiting list as normal. You may be offered the opportunity to become an Affiliate again in the future. Your place on the waiting list will be unaffected and you will be offered Associate membership (see below) and later Full membership once your name reaches the top of the list.
No. Associate membership offers a greater range of benefits, as determined by the MCC Committee. As with Full membership, there is a ceiling on the number of Associate Members and it is offered sequentially to those on the waiting list. Associate membership is optional but all Associate Members must upgrade once they receive an offer of Full membership. Associate Members may wear the Club colours of Scarlet and Gold and, although they are not eligible to vote, they are able to serve on the Club’s sub-committees.

In 2026, Associate Members were able to enter the Ground, Pavilion and Members’ Friends’ Enclosures on all non-major match days and were also granted attendance privileges on a number of major match days (including Days 4 and 5 of the New Zealand Men's Test match, Days 3, 4 and 5 of the Pakistan Men's Test match, all days of the India Women's Test match, and all T20 Blast and The Hundred matches). They were also able to apply for guest tickets for the Members’ Friends’ Enclosures, to introduce guests to the Pavilion for certain women’s matches and on non-major match days, and to purchase Public Stand tickets for major matches in an exclusive priority window.
Yes. From 1 January 2027, all new applicants joining the waiting list for Full membership will be required to take up Affiliate status.
No. Once you have become an Affiliate, you cannot revert to being a Candidate. In the event that you do not pay your annual fee as an Affiliate, your place on the waiting list for Full membership will lapse.
The annual fee may be paid either as a single payment at the beginning of the year or in nine equal instalments from January to September. Further information will be provided by the Club Services Department on receipt of your application.
