The table below sets out annual subscription rates for Full Members in 2027. Annual subscriptions are liable to increase, subject to Members' approval, each year.

ACCESS TO LORD'S
Match Days

Full Members of MCC have the right to be admitted, without charge, to Lord's, the Pavilion and the Members' Friends' Enclosures (the Allen, Tavern and Warner stands) for all cricket matches played at Lord's. Full Members need only show their red Membership Pass to gain entry to the Ground and Pavilion


Tickets for Guests


For Major Matches (e.g. Test Matches, ODIs) Members are able to purchase Rover tickets for their guests to sit in the Members’ Friends’ Enclosures, namely the Warner, Allen & Tavern Stands.

Members are able to introduce guests into the Pavilion on certain match days (including some major match days) as agreed via Special Regulations approved by the MCC Committee each year.


NON-MATCH DAYS

On non-match days, as an MCC Member, you and your guests are welcome to come to Lord's, subject to Ground Closure (within opening hours). We ask that all Members make an enquiry via the online form below to avoid disappointment in the case of pre-booked functions which may limit ground access.

Benefits of your membership on non-match days:

  • Access to the Pavilion for you and up to four guests 
  • Complimentary tea and coffee in the Bowlers' Bar on Monday-Friday, subject to availability based on pre-booked functions (also operates as an honesty bar) 
  • Free entry into the MCC Museum for you and your guests 
  • Access to the Library for you and your guests without making an appointment 
  • MCC Shop will open on request 
  • Booking the Lord's Tennis Court and Squash Courts 
  • Free access to any public Lord's Tour. Please inform the Tours Office in advance.
  • 10% off your food bill in Lord's Tavern

RIGHTS & PRIVILEGES

There are numerous benefits to being a Full Member of MCC, with access to all the rights and privileges of MCC membership. In addition to rights related to attending cricket matches at Lord's, these rights and privileges include, but are not limited to:

Rights:

  • The right to nominate Candidates for the waiting list.
  • Voting rights at General Meetings.
  • The right to serve on the Club's committees and sub-committees.

Privileges:

  • Early access to Public Stand tickets.
  • Access to purchase tickets for guests in the Members' Friends' Enclosures of the Ground for Major Matches.
  • When on a short visit, to make use of the reciprocal arrangements with 11 overseas clubs - Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Lahore Gymkhana, Hong Kong, Singapore, The Cricket Club of India (Mumbai), Wester Province Cricket Club (Cape Town), and Hagley Oval (Christchurch).
  • Exclusive access to private entertainment facilities via the Members' Suite Ballot.
  • To participate in the events organised by the Bridge, Chess and Backgammon Societies.




MCC Extras

MCC Extras is our exclusive benefits package for Members. As well as our burgeoning range of events at Lord’s, we are delighted to join up with several organisations who offer discounts on various experiences, exclusively for MCC Members. We have teamed up with several hotels, restaurants and travel agencies to provide you with great experiences around the UK and abroad.

It’s not just discounted experiences on offer for MCC Members. We have a number of Affiliates who can offer you discounts on a stunning range of luxury items, clothing brands, cricketing literature and refreshments.


MEMBER EVENTS

A series of formal and informal events, specifically for Members, are held throughout the year. All events are publicised to Members in our regular Events and Offers email, MCC Extras Monthly,


These included winter Club Dinners, the Anniversary Dinner, informal Supper Nights, Sunday Lunches, National and Regional Dinners and Christmas Lunches


COWDREY LECTURE

The event is named after Lord Colin Cowdrey, the former England captain who is credited with initiating the ‘Spirit of Cricket’ – an outline for fair play that was later officially added as a preamble to the Laws of Cricket.

Lord Cowdrey passed away in December 2000 and in his memory, the Cowdrey Lecture was born. The first lecture took place in 2001 and was delivered by the former Australian captain Richie Benaud.

EXCLUSIVE MERCHANDISE

Full Members are able to wear the Club colours. The full range of exclusive Members' clothing, luggage, accessories and homewares is available on the Members' online shop, which you will be able to access once you are elected.


At the Ground, the Members' Shop is situated opposite the South Door of the Pavilion and is open on match days and on request on non-match days.



SOCIETIES & SPORTS


TENNIS & SQUASH

The Club has one Real Tennis Court and two Squash Courts. Full Members are able to book the Real Tennis Court for one-hour sessions, and the Squash Courts for forty-minute sessions throughout the year. 

The Club also enters external Tennis and Squash competitions.



GOLF

The Golf Society, which is open to Full Members, organises a series of Golf Days and matches at courses around the country. 

The Society also organises overseas Golf Tours. Past international tour destinations include Oman, South Africa, the south of France and The Netherlands.



BACKGAMMON, BRIDGE & CHESS

The Bridge Society meets and Lord's weekly throughout the year. They also organise in-house competitions and annual Mixed Swiss Teams Events.


Informal Chess and Backgammon nights and matches against other clubs are held in the Pavilion from time to time.



FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Upon your graduation, you will be required to pay your 2027 Annual subscription and the balance of your Full Member Entrance Fee. The Entrance Fee is only payable in the first year as a Full Member. For following years, you only need to pay your annual subscription.

For example, if your name was placed on the list of Inner Town Members, with the subscription of £746, and the balance of your Full Member Entrance Fee is £1,054, the total amount you will have to pay is £1,800.

There is no means within the Club Rules to defer your membership to a later year.

Membership passes are dispatched around the middle of March. Both your Annual Subscription and Entrance Fee balance will need to be paid in order for your membership pass to be sent.
