Matt Prior revealed his delight at the return of Kevin Pietersen to the England fold in an interview with Lord's TV.
Kev's a phenomenal player
Prior, speaking at the Chance to Shine Awards Evening in the Long Room at Lord's, described Pietersen's call-up to the squad as "great news."

He added: "Kev's a phenomenal player and an England team with KP in it is a stronger team.
"The most important thing is pulling in the right direction and getting this team working together."
The Sussex wicket-keeper, who has had an extended break from international cricket due to his continued absence from England's one-day set-ups, had taken it upon himself to try and smooth over the Pietersen situation earlier in the summer.
And Prior, who has played 58 Tests for his country, admitted he had met with his estranged teammate during the 'reintegration' process.
"I can say I met with Kev," said the 30-year-old.
"All I'll say on it is that it went really well, things were really positive and we're ready to move on."
England play the first of their four Tests in Ahmedabad, starting on November 15. They last won a series in India in 1984/5.
